Taking Kennedy on Vacation

Lots of firsts for Kennedy this past month! Her first passport, first airplane ride, first time out of the country and first all-inclusive resort!

We just returned from a week in Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic; staying at The Grand Palladium Punta Cana Resort and Spa. We had a great time even though it was different from the last time we were there. For instance everything revolved around Kennedy instead of me!

The locals LOVED her! Everywhere we went they touched her hand or cheek, saying, "Hola, Baabee!" And she would grin and wave at them! It was so sweet!!

Yes it was more work, but totally worth it!!

Kennedy Comes to Visit

The last two Saturday nights we've had a little visitor!

The first time, Brittany and Kennedy had been to the zoo about two hours from here with college friends and then came to spend the night. The next time, they were at a birthday party an hour from here and again came to spend the night, but also celebrate my birthday.

They brought flowers and dinner and we took them out on the boat Saturday night and to church and lunch on Sunday.

Kennedy has become a busy little bee and doesn't sit still anymore! It seems like that happened overnight!!
