Jackson Turns Two

So, grateful we were able to go back to Charleston for Jackson's birthday. We haven't missed either kids' b-days yet! Their family had bad colds and I had an eye infection, but we made the best of it!!!

Delayed Christmas in Charleston

 It was the in-laws turn to have Britany's family on Christmas Day, so John and I drove down the following Monday. Stayed 3 nights and had a ball!

Jackson is such a neat nick! He hands be every tiny piece of paper to throw away!

Brittany made a lot of different charcuterie boards while we were there

Kennedy got this cool toy for Christmas. Magic Mixie. You put different "chemicals" and water in the caldron and then a feather, a little plastic heart, etc. Each time you add something you tap the edge with the magic wand. Eventually smoke starts pouring out and lights flash and music sounds! Then something opens up in the bottom and you can reach in and pull out the cutest little stuffed animal!

Thanksgiving in Charleston

 We spent Thanksgiving in Charleston with the kids. Kennedy greets me at the car and we start playing right away! Jackson never stops and really seems to study everything he sees - what it does, how it works, etc.

While he makes a huge mess while playing I got a kick out of him also picking up trash and throwing it away along with millions of legos when it was time to clean up. Pretty good for an 18-month old!

Quick visit to Charleston

 John and I had given Brittany and Dan new cabinet doors for their May birthdays and they finally came in. So he and I headed down to Charleston for 4 days so John could sand and paint the base and then install the new doors.

Great chance to play with Kennedy and Jackson and watch Kennedy at her tennis camp!
